Albie, lovingly known as Albus Doggledore, had a way of filling a home with laughter. He would “sing” along to movie intros, such as those from 20th Century Fox and Universal, never missing his moment. It became such a treasured ritual that his daughter still waits to hear him join in.

Mornings meant cartoons, cuddled close with Mom and his baby sister. Winter meant bounding through the snow, choosing to eat it instead of hurrying inside, running and jumping with his mouth wide open, looking so wonderfully silly that no one could ever be mad.

“Mylo had a way of winning over everyone he met, even those who claimed not to be “dog people”. He was incredibly smart, expressive and full of personality, with a presence that grounded our home. Named after Coldplay’s Mylo Xyloto, he brought joy, warmth and laughter to our lives from the very beginning.

He went everywhere with us and loved being part of every moment, especially our cottage trips. His loyalty was unwavering – he would often wait by the door when one of us left, even if the others were still home, sometimes even falling asleep there until they returned safely.

Rambunctious and energetic as a puppy, he carried that spark well into his senior years. In his final days, the love he gave was returned tenfold, as friends and family came to visit, bringing treats and affection. It brings us comfort to know he will live on in the hearts of so many beyond our family.”

Our lives are richer for having had him in them. We will miss him dearly, while cherishing the memories we were lucky enough to make together. Love you forever, our Mylo 🤍

Maya, known as Mymy and fluffy bum, carried herself with quiet grace and a heart that felt bigger than her frame. She found joy in the simple things: her Kenny pillow, liver treats, sitting out on the deck during winter, and greeting the neighbours as if it were her daily duty.

Brooklyn, known as Brookie and Baby, brought so much joy to the people who loved her. She adored treats and her happiest days were spent at the cottage, where she could run free from morning until night.

She had a way of making everyone smile, especially when she would beg for treats by standing on her hind legs with her front paws together, as if she were saying a little prayer.

Brooklyn loved her whole family deeply, but her favourite place was always close to her mom, shadowing her throughout the day, never more than a few feet away.

“She was my best friend, kept me sane through the ups and downs of life and was the best companion, especially through covid. We went on so many adventures together, including a road trip across the continent to Florida where we lived by the beach together for almost two years. She was sassy, but incredibly loyal and loving.
Snooks, thank you for being the heart of our home and greatest companion on the open road. From the sun-drenched beaches to the quiet moments in the snow, your sassy spirit and fierce loyalty made every journey brighter.
We will never forget the way your fluffy coat caught the wind, or the pure, simple joy you found whenever you were lost in a fresh blanket of snow. You moved through life with such a beautiful balance of fire and grace.
Thank you for the years the immense love you shared with us. While the silence you’ve left behind is heavy, we find peace knowing you are at rest. We are so incredibly grateful for every mile we traveled together and for the way you changed our lives just by being in them. You will be missed every single day, and loved for all the days to come. Known by many loving names: Snooki, Snookerdoodle, Snookers, Snook Snooks, and Snookerina. Snooks found joy in chasing squirrels, long walks, and bouncing through fresh snow. She loved all humans, but her heart belonged most deeply to her dad.

“We will always remember our favourite greeter every time we walked through the door, her little stumpy tail wagging with excitement.

Roxi loved her dried liver treats and steak. She loved kids and she was so gentle with our 9 grandchildren, who loved her dearly. In her younger days she loved to go to the park and chase her ball, go for long walks, and meet up with other friendly dogs. Throughout her life she enjoyed her favourite swimming spot on Cameron Lake and going for boat rides. She loved to play ‘tug’ and ‘chase me’ with her squeaky stuffed toys.

The paw prints you left on our broken hearts will help us to heal. We’ll love you forever sweet girl, and we’ll never, ever forget the joy that you brought to our lives.”

Lovingly known as Schmexter, Dexter had a talent for getting into trouble, sneaking food from counters, stealing from garbage cans, and pulling every last bit of fluff out of toys so nothing ever stayed nice for long. His playful spirit and curiosity kept everyone on their toes and smiling.
Dexter loved everyone he met, but his heart belonged especially to his immediate family and those closest to him: Auntie Steph, Grammy, Ota, and Baba. He gave his love freely, snuggled deeply, and filled his home with laughter, warmth, and unforgettable moments.

A love that stayed close through every moment becomes impossible to forget 🐾

“Ham loved to cuddle and always had to be on or very near his people. He loved his comfy beds and blankets, snuggling with his favourite ‘guys’, Sharky and Thumper and always being a part of the action. Whether it was sitting on the front porch in the evening with mommy and papa watching the world (and wildlife go by) or sitting on a chair at the dinner table with everyone (keeping a close eye on all of the food), he never wanted to miss out on any of the fun. We could never leave a wet towel on the floor without him rolling on it, or take him for a walk in the snow without him swishing in it. And a booty scratch was the way to his heart.

He loved to eat Tilted Barn treats, Burgers, Peameal bacon, pasta, cheese (all in moderation of course)
Some of his favourite things to do were Saturday morning walks to the farmers market for a little piece of peameal bacon, Tuesday movie night with Papa while Mommy was at work, sniffing and suntanning in the backyard, going on walks and seeing his girlfriend Sadie and his best buddy Willy, going on car rides (especially if he could sit up front on mommy’s lap and hang out the window)

Ham loved everyone he met, always greeted them with a bark and maybe some happy kicks. He loved his bunny brother Oreo and his cat sisters Uma and Roni but his most favourite people were his mommy and papa of course.

You were our favourite hello and our hardest good bye, our sweet baby boy Ham. Our house and hearts are empty without you here. Time will heal, your memory will live on and we will love you forever. You really were the perfect dog, thank you for loving us unconditionally for 12 years.”
